Golem - Dreamweaver

Golem are a Death Metal band that combine melody
and brutality with completely ominous, crushingly heavy
guitar riffs and songwriting. They definitely have a certain
uniqueness not often found in this kind of music, and
are very much worth giving a listen!

The Berzerker - Dissimulate

The Berzerker are an insane industrial death metal/grindcore
band, that no other band I've heard really sounds like. They're
probably been a huge influence on cyber-grind bands, but
are wayy better than 90% of them. Their drummer (yes
that is actually a drummer) uses drum triggers
much better than most better than most, making them
sound completely unique and very machine
like. Over all it's just a great cd to blast through.

Apophis - Heliopolis

A while back I was spending some time searching through
Amazon.com when I came across this little gem. Upon listening
to the samples I knew I had to purchase this cd immediately,
and then upon receiving, listened to it in my car for like a week
straight. Apophis play a more old school style of death metal, filled
with equal parts brutality and melody, creating a great atmosphere
not normally found in death metal. I don't really get why they're
rather unknown, and honestly see this as a must have!

Amon Amarth - Twilight of the Thunder God

Melodic Death Metal with Norse Mythology and
Viking themes. This band is amazing, they're just so
heavy and precise. Plus, they've played a show
on a stage made to look like a Viking Ship..

The Black Dahlia Murder - Nocturnal

Melodic death metal. This cd is really damn awesome,
all the drumming is just insane, and Deathmask Divine is
probably one of the creepiest romance songs ever..

Misery Index - Retailiate

Death metal/Grindcore. This band features some
ex-members of Dying Fetus, and rip's through these songs
in a similar ultra-fast and punishing way.

Veil of Maya - All Things Set Aside

This is Veil of Maya's first CD, and it is their best by a long shot.
It's much rawer, and real sounding, and I liked this vocalist better,
and its actually a Death Metal cd, not the trend-y metal they're
playing now.

Die Alone - The Arcane Suicde Movement

Sick techy Death Metal from Milwaukee, WI. Quite unfortunately
they broke up a few years ago. Quite fortunately while they were still
around, a few members also spawned a hell-child in the form of
Nuclear Powered Satan, which will come soon.
